2018 - NOW
The Horror of it All (THOIA) is a collaborative horror zine anthology made by two friends trying to stay connected through their favorite pastime - judging films as if their opinions are the only ones that mattered.
This zine series is independently produced and sold by Mads Thelín and Sierra Trostrud. Three editions have been completed with many more in development.

2020-NOW
Skateboarding has always been cool; but minorities like POC, women, LGBTQ+ and other identities haven't always been supported in this 'cool' white-cis-male dominated society.
This zine, intended to become a series, is inspired by the artists real life encounters with fellow non-traditional bad-ass skaters in the cities of Chicago, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles. The first publication included playlist and vinyl sticker for tasteful board placement.

2021 - NOW
First person POV stories about your favorite actors, musicians, and generic hotties with piercing eyes were on every Tumblr feed in the early 2010's. This is a collection of POV illustrations following the same story format only with MILF's and their legal and consenting lovers/admirers.
Told in the order of the Latin alphabet, each lover/admirer's name starts with a different letter of the alphabet and is frequently addressing 'y/n' or musing about 'y/n's mom'. 'y/n' stands for your name. It's a symbol to suggest putting your own name in its place to create interaction.

TW: blood and acts of violence
Intrusive thoughts verge on psychosis in this animatic for an original animated short that looks into the psyche of a young woman returning home from a late night grocery run only to find herself wondering what is real and what is a trauma response.
Created using Storyboard Pro. Colored in black and white with grey tones and a splash of red.
2022 - NOW
ON PAUSE
Atmospheric simulations created in a game engine with the purpose of showing time though autonomous play that could last 24 hours. Time is exemplified through the coding of light, movement, and object instantiation.
Each video piece is made using Unity software and found object/material models. Edits and post-production are done in Adobe PremierPro.
The subject has been placed on pause for a short period of time as the artist works on expanding their knowledge of coding languages.
2021
The very real story of a young girl's first attempt at using app based dating services to find a soulmate. She doesn't get what she wants and she definitely doesn't get what she deserves.
The story is a comedy, but has hints of horror and drama. The script is adapted from an interview the artist had with the subject.
The artist was commissioned to make this work and has considered making more, but has yet to find a subject for the perfect sequel story.
